SO, today I'm feeling all down and out. I'm tired from work, my feet feel like they are going to break in half. I'm just so sick and tired, of being sick and tired. I'm so tired because I work a full-time, barely making enough money job.
I want NEED to go to college. There are no "If's, and's, buts" about it. There are 3 problems though. I can't continue to work my current job and got to school full time. I can't quit my current job and just go to school. I'm also having a hard time trying to find a job that would allow me to work and go to school. I used to love my job and the people I work with. It's just to stressful and time consuming. By time consuming I mean I usually work 12-9. There's not much else you can do that morning.
I'm interested in getting my CNA, then going back and getting my ADN. There will always be a job for Nurses, so it seems like my best option. I'm just very stressed about everything in my life right now and I wish I wasn't. I really don't want to go to school online. I finished High School online and it's not easy, I don't care what anyone says. So, I'm just weighing all my options and needed to vent about them.
I want me and my child to have the best life we can. I'm just undecided and unsure of what my next plans are!

I know what you mean about online. I only did my homebound online for six weeks and I hated it. You are basically teaching yourself.
I'm not sure about for CNA programs, but I know for associates and bachelor's degrees there is a thing called pell grant. It's based off your parents income, and you do not have to pay it back. I get $2750 every semester. I get the HOPE scholarship as well, so the Pell grant goes directly to me, and I can spend it on whatever I want.
I know it's different for every person, but it might be something worth looking into.
Well, my advice was going to be online school. That is what my husband does since he works so much. I have heard about a 6 week program you can do. You get some sort of nursing certification and I believe you can get a phlebotomy certification too. I can find out more about it if you are interested. But it does cost. You can't get financial aid for it. It is a few hundred dollars.
Also, about what Christina said, it would be based off your income if you claimed yourself on your taxes.
I would really like to go get my ADN which is an Assosiate Degree in Nursing. It would take two years to get. Which I don't mind going to school, I just need to maintain a full-time job as well. I pretty much need to find a good day job, so I can go to school at night. I could do some of that schooling online, but not enough of it.
Britany: I am interested in that progam! I would really apreciate if you found out more for me!
Alright. I definitely will. As far as a good day job goes, I am not sure about that. It is so hard to find a job. Maybe a daycare?
My job isn't "bad" i just wish it was mostly days instead of nights :/ A friend of mine works at one, she's makes less then I do. I like to stay around the same pay if at all possiable. Thank you so much for getting me more information about that progam!
